Hey everybody! Wasn't satisfied with my previous layout so decided to start from the stage out. I'm also changing it a little so that the interior mimics something of a dojo/opera house/temple
Hi Grace! What didn't you like about your previous layout and what parts of the opera house do you want to use for influence exactly? I liked the idea you had of 2 floors.
I wanted to incorporate the size of the opera house, so I changed the settings in Max to show units of feet, and looked up large opera house measurements. I was thinking about the second floor and what use it would have. Using the opera house, I decided to change the second floor to seats and where an orchestra would play. And like in the reference picture I have, I might put in lanterns all along the sides of the second floor. I still want natural light to be the main light source so I will open the roof somehow.
